Tamarind is a tropical plant, the plant is expected to come from the Eastern African continent savanna. Tamarind that also called Tamarinier in France is only known as a spice, but in fact, it has a lot of benefits for treatment. It;s also reported able to treat a sore throat when used as a mouthwash, and can be used to treat wounds as a topical medication. Tamarind benefits diversity is due anti-bacterial and anti-fungal content and has the ability to increase the effectiveness of ibuprofen.

Tamarind Health Benefits As Natural Herb

1. Treat asthma
2 pieces of tamarind bark and adequate fennel. These two ingredients are boiled with 1 liter of water, then filtered. Drink 2 times a day

2. Treat hacking cough
3 pods of tamarind fruit, half handful sage leaves. These two ingredients are boiled with 4 cups water until remaining 1 cup and then filtered. Drink 2 times a day, morning and afternoon.


3. Treat fever
1 handful of tamarind leaves and adequate fennel. These two ingredients are boiled with half a liter of water then filtered. Drink taken 2 times a day, morning and afternoon.


4. Treat rheumatic
1 handful of tamarind leaves and 2-3 tamarind seeds. Both ingredients finely ground. Compress it to the affected part.

5. Treat stomach ache
3 pods of ripe tamarind, whiting and eucalyptus oil sufficiently. All the material is crushed and mixed until evenly. Rubbed into the abdomen.


6. Treat small bump allergy
2-3 ripe tamarind pods, adequate salt, quarter spoon of whiting. All the ingredients are boiled in 3 cups water until remain 2 cups, and filtered. Drink 2 times a day, morning and afternoon

7. Treat thrush
2 pieces tamarind pods, 2 thumb sized ginger rhizome, 1 slice of coconut sugar. All these ingredients boil ed down to 1 cup, and then filtered then drink.


8. Treat ulcer
Some tamarind seeds. Tamarind seeds finely ground, then placed on the wound and then bandaged.

9. Treat eczema
1 handful of tamarind leaves are still young, 2 thumb sized turmeric rhizome. Both ingredients until finely ground and then placed on the affected part.

10. Swelling due to a centipede or a bee sting
3-5 tamarind seeds and eucalyptus oil sufficiently. Tamarind seeds are finely ground. First, cleaned the swelling part with a cloth moistened by eucalyptus oil, then apply with those tamarind.
